What is BPW?
Founded in 1919, the National Federation of Business and
Professional Women's Clubs (BPW/USA) is a non-profit and non-partisan
organization composed of a network of 80,000 members strong who belong to
over 2,800 local chapters in 53 state federations. Our members work together
to build WomanPower: politically, professionally, and personally.
BPW of Lower Cape Cod is your local organization of dedicated, involved
working women helping other women. Most of our members reside and/or work in
the 8 towns of Lower Cape Cod - Brewster, Harwich, Orleans, Chatham,
Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. With the resources of the
national organization at our disposal, we are able to assist you to develop
the contacts, skills, knowledge and confidence to make the most of yourself.
Whatever your age or position or whatever your ambitions and talents, BPW is
there for you!
Founded in 1956, we are devoted entirely and actively to the needs and
interests of all working women. Through our monthly dinner meetings and
other activities, we provide programs which address women's and family
issues, contacts and networking opportunities, training in public speaking,
educational assistance and scholarships, recognition of outstanding working
women and advocacy on your behalf at the state and national level.
